This workshop will be from 1pm-3.30pm, at Ethel & Em Lancaster on Sunday 12th and 26th March 2023.
Learn the fundamentals of colour work including slipped stitches and striping, and stranded colourwork, a technique used in many Scandavian and Baltic countries to introduce colour and patterns into your knits. At the end of this two session workshop you should be well on your way to finishing a colour work sampler cowl in Rowan Kid Classic.
Two balls of Rowan Kid Classic are included in the price of this workshop. Please bring along a pair of 5mm x 40cm OR 50cm circular knitting needles.
This workshop will be led by local indie dyer Scott from Take Two Yarn, a keen knitter and talented yarn dyer. Scott lead his first workshop before the pandemic and is keen to share his love of knitting with those who want to get started and level up their skills.
