Love little, cute crochet plushies and squashies? In this fun and supportive workshop, you’ll learn how to crochet a cute and cuddly strawberry while learning the key techniques for amigurumi crochet.
This class is ideal for confident beginners and improvers who already have some crochet experience and are ready to turn simple stitches into three-dimensional shapes. You’ll be guided through the essential techniques used in amigurumi, learning how to crochet in the round and shape your work to create stuffed creatures with personality. The focus is on understanding the process, building confidence, and enjoying the joy of bringing small characters to life.
All you need is a 3.5mm hook. Your yarn is included, and you’ll receive clear instructions to support you during the session and beyond. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills and confidence to complete your first amigurumi project and continue exploring this type of crochet project.

Mitch Weir is an avid crocheter and burgeoning designer, known online as crochelf_. He loves creating crochet creatures and sharing the know-how with anyone keen to learn in a friendly, encouraging environment.

Once your place is booked, it is booked. Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the course date receive a 50% refund. After that, refunds are not available unless the place can be filled, in which case 90% of the ticket price may be refunded. Places are transferable as long as we are notified.
