he Dovetail Rule 200/350mm is a two-piece ruler and square. The two pieces can be used individually as 200mm rules and magnetically link together to allow for easy transportation in a pencil case. When the two pieces are combined a total length of 350mm can be created. The two pieces can be combined either way around to allow for the zero point to be to the left or right. The back of the long edge of the rule has a bevel to minimise ink smudging. The two sections can also be combined at 90 degrees to act as a reference square with a starting corner of zero for both edges.

The markings are all etched in to ensure they cannot be worn away over time and the back face is painted black to allow the pieces to move around smoothly on notepads and drawing paper.
