Join local artist Mia Eccleston for a relaxed and creative introduction to 3D needlefelting. In this welcoming workshop, you’ll learn how to shape wool into sculptural forms while creating your own charming icon, Totoro!
This three hour session is suitable for all levels and is perfect whether you’re completely new to needlefelting or curious to build confidence with 3D forms. Mia will guide you through the fundamentals of needlefelting, including how to create firm structures and how to manipulate and refine shapes using roving wool and felting needles. There’s plenty of support, encouragement, and time to enjoy the process as you work.
All materials are included, so you can simply turn up and enjoy a few hours of creative play. You’ll leave with a finished needle felted artwork, new skills, and the confidence to continue exploring this wonderfully tactile craft.
